Solutions Architect - Python (Client-facing)

We’re looking for a Solutions Architect with deep expertise in Python and modern developer workflows to support our enterprise customers and help shape the future of Python development with JetBrains tools. In this role, you’ll work directly with senior engineers and architects to solve complex technical challenges, represent PyCharm and our broader tooling with credibility, and translate real-world customer insights into meaningful product feedback. You’ll operate at the intersection of customers, Product, and Engineering - driving impact through both hands-on expertise and strategic influence. About The Role Demonstrate and position PyCharm’s capabilities - debugging, refactoring, testing, profiling, and code insight - as differentiators in modern Python development. Advise on Python project structure, dependency management, packaging, and large codebase best practices. Support use cases across backend services, data workflows, automation, and web development. Deliver technical workshops, demos, and customer presentations. Create high-quality technical content such as articles, documentation, sample projects, and presentations. Gather structured customer feedback and translate it into actionable input for Product and Engineering. What We’re Looking For Strong proficiency in Python for real-world development beyond scripting. Deep familiarity with Python tooling: virtual environments, dependency management, packaging, and testing ecosystems (pytest, unittest). Experience working with large or complex Python codebases. Knowledge of async and concurrency models in Python. Hands-on experience with PyCharm in real-world development environments. Understanding of AI-assisted coding workflows and developer-focused LLM tools. Strong communication skills and experience engaging with enterprise customers. Fluent English (written and spoken). Nice to Have Experience with frameworks such as Django, FastAPI, or Flask. Exposure to Python in data science or ML workflows. Contributions to open-source projects.
